So far away, but close inside
time marches on, I sit and bide
Will you see it, floating there
I dream indeed, to touch your hair
you are there, but I am not
time marches on, and I will rot
from heartache, from pain extreme
perplexed, I do not know what I mean
need I do, for without unbearable
time marches on, abscence understandable
room in my heart, in these walls
unexpectedly the curtain falls
