Whispers fall on my ears
as soft as falling snow
Words of love and of tears
these whispers that we know

Songs once sung in a tune
that carry in the night
Soulful cry of the loon
beneath the moon in light

Sighs born and bound in lust
of passions when entwined
Sparkling fall of star’s dust
into the eyes once blind

Lips that trail in skin’s trace
on waters of the stream
Tender hold of one’s face
together in one dream

Eyes that blaze with the flame
of ecstacy and more
Lover’s lost in their game
beyond the closing door

When the fall of one star
from heavens comes to be
Lover’s eyes in gleam are
of love when meant to see

Super Barry!
Your writing has taken on a bit of a different syle it would appear lately...
AND I am enjoying every one of them....
I'm off to lalaland...
I can see Luna from my bedroom window,
She inspires me...so off I go.

Magnus darling boy what can I say except this is utterly utterly wonderful. I swear your writing gets better daily, almost hourly it has always been utterly utterly incredible.

As always to bathe in the wonder as delivered by the pen of the master of morning starts my day. I think that if my soul isn’t ignited by that special Magnus spark then it slumbers through the day, and never really gets going. Wonderful writing

Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the eathquake wind and fire

ahhhhhhh... gorgeous.

You seriously need to publish a book, if only just for me
That way each night I can read a bit of it and sleep with all these beautiful poems covering me over like a soft blanket. I'm sure I'd wake up feeling just lovely every day. So, Magnus - what do you say? Pretty please? hmmm???

...and her crown was formed by the ice in her eyes
