Feelings Inside

When love comes knocking on my door
Leading to this heart of mine
I am going to keep it locked real tight
It isn't going to get me, not this time

It only seems to stay for a short while
Long enough to make me feel once again
The love I had once before, and lost
Is one I just cannot seem to win

The love that I have always known
Never did have so many conditions
As the love I have recieved from you
Which always led to your rejections

This isn't the kind of love I need from you
I need the kind that is mine to keep
Which will give me pleasant dreams
Each night when I lay down to sleep

I think we all enjoy love that comes without
conditions or expectations.  Most love to
receive,  yet at the same time...should give
in return.  I like a 50/50 split, though I
doubt it seldom ever works out to just that.

Excellent thoughts Sue....I hope you find
what you are asking for..I don't see that it
is too much...
