The fiery sun was burning deep withing his sea blue eyes.
The flaring clouds were fading as thunder roared through the sky.
A streak of white lightning sailed as horses took to run.
He let the tears burn his cheeks as darkness took over the sun.
A palomino took the lead as the wild horses darted through the land.
The cowboy drew a quiet breath, barely able to stand.
A single droplet of rain propelled into the country grass.
It'd seemed like forever, but only seconds had passed.
His yellow duster wavered as the wind picked up speed.
Staying in this country was all he would need.
The lightning struck a tree as he watched his world catch on fire.
He would live and die freely.
That's all he desired.

Don't hold back the words you really mean.

I really enjoyed this poem. You support your symbolism with a continuance of symbiolism throughtout. Great job
