Something is Wanted

How sad when,
All through the
Chapters of a lifetime,
There are nothing but
Pages which are blank.
No gods above for
Granted favors to thank.
Dressed in memories,
I am what I should
Have liked to be.
The colorful phrases
I wish I had said.
To have lavised love,
Which alas,
Has long been dead.

To have lazed in a meadow,
Trailing fingers in a
Rushing mountain born brook.
To have authored a song, or
Prehaps a book,
Of Philosophy.
To have made a mark,
Something to be remembered.
To have savored the smooth,
Sweet taste of success.
To have arms lifted high
Over head.
To have souted to the world,
"Somthing is Wanted"

Ah, but to have that warm
Full feeling that,
The somthing wanted
Was I.

(sigh) Awwwwww, this is soooooo beautifully bittersweet, dearest friend, someone once told me before that your dream will come true as long as you set a goal and everyday contribute something that brings you one step closer to that goal!
