I wish that we had never met--
for now you own my very breath.
Every waking thought consumes,
and all my dreams are dreams of you.

"Truly, you are witch," he said,
"or healer to awaken dead.
I smell your scent upon the breeze--
I feel your fingers tracing me.

Drawing me in grace of ease...
once a lion, now appeased.
And should at first I meet my death,
I'll haunt this earth, to breathe your breath.

I'll fly the night to kiss your screams
in hopes I have a part in dreams..."

A single tear rode down his cheek--
proof of his sincerity...
"Oh" I said, "You're poetry..."
"No." He wept. "I'm only me."

He silenced me with depth of eyes
and cradled me to my surprise...
"I shall not leave you, not with ease."
And still? I find it hard to breathe.

I steal in steatlh of stifled air--
Every breath I breathe--he's there.

Yep, I know this feeling…much to well. You got me with this one Karen.

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

Yep, yep, yep,  this is certainly a worthy
poem of posting again....

Love the flow....

I know this feeling....as I walk, watch,
feel everything around me driving my mind
in a poetic way....searching for my next
word, next verse...

BRAVO!!! Oh my gosh, this is soooooo powerful, sweet friend, I know this feeling so well where we just want to stay defensive from someone yet their intentions keep on allurng hearts of one another and finally we can't help but give into those desires! (sigh) This is fantastic, sweet friend, I LOVE IT, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Sure hope this is the saddest thing I read all night...it's more than enough.

This has always been one of my faves of yours...how could it not be?
you wrote me while you were writing you...
and it took my breath away.
a moth anthem baby... and a very very cool write.

I remembering being one and the same ...
closer even than the heat and the flame.
