Gossamer Halo

~*Marge Tindal*~

Night fell, so I caught it in total wordless amaze
as the moon shown so brightly in fullness of phase
Seems that God turned off each star in the sky
so the woman-in-the-moon could go waltzing by
A gossamer halo she twirled 'round her orb
never has she been so beautiful before
It sure pleases me to think that she
sprinkles her sparkles over the sea
O'er the mountains in splendor
shedding soft glow of light
dancing in star slippers
across this night
Poets wait for moments like this
to write of her beauty in glowing verses of bliss~

This is lovely, Marge! But, I was always told there is a man in the moon. What happened to the man, did she kick him out?

Yes poets wait for this, and I am glad at least one poet found it...

Ah Marge!  Is it that time again?
Oh...yes, I see lovely Luna out my window.
Perhaps I shall write of her for tomorrow night.
These are indeed moments that poets wait to write of.
As you have, perfectly!

I think that gossamer was just waiting for this poet, not the other way around. (But I sometimes have a strange POV.)

Marge A glowing poem!  The moon is always inspiring and you have added your own special imagery to her appearance.  Thanks for sending it to me.

Lovely...Marge~
Lauren~

I would rather have one breath of his hair,
one kiss of his mouth,
one touch of his hand
than an eternity without it.
