Each Prayer Sent

Each prayer sent to Heaven’s ear,
passed by me so that I could touch,
to feel the love and faith in each.
I want to thank you all so much.

I spoke to God, just yesterday.
He told me I should have no fears,
that I’ll recover very quick
and He will give me many years.

And with those years, I’ll try teach hope.
I’ll share with some the peace I feel.
I won't give up, pleae have no doubts.
At times, life can be much too real.

It’s much too real now, as I speak.
It’s sobering, but even so,
I’m learning much about myself,
so many things, I'm glad to know.

God bless you all and thank you for your caring.
I’ll see you in a few weeks.

You cannot fall down very far when you have this many arms rady to catch you, to help lift you back up again. And of course, I still need more painting lessons.

This is a very nice thank you poem. I know we don't know each other personally, but I feel as if I do know you from being in the DM program. Please recover from the surgery soon and come back to all of us with your wonderful poetry. My thoughts are with you and your family.
