Some stars shine brighter
Because they are closer
To Heaven than we know
God's light ignites them
And gives them the power
To be seen.

Some stars glow softer
Because they are further
Away from the fire
Of worldly desire
And they are destined
to be unseen.

All stars have purpose
Whether seen or unseen
It all is a matter
Of knowing your place
And accepting it all
In good faith.

Love,
Bonnie

Thank you all for your kind replies! I was contemplating about the different roles in life, the big and the small and this came of it. ;o)

Bonnie darling girl, what a delight it is to read your writing. I love the way this shows the importance of the big and the small this is fabulous writing Iā€™m eternally stunned by the way you shape and form a poem. This is outstandingly good. Wonderful writing, excellent utterly utterly perfect. I absolutely love it
