The spring is fading to the summer sun,
And yet I had much spring work left undone,
Basement clutter lingers from the winter,
Blossoms came and went unwatched in splendor.

Sit here, take time, talk soft, talk of time gone.

The days are full of many yesterdays,
People known and now that have gone away,
Talks center on subjects I’d rather not
These are memories that can’t be forgot.

Sit here, take time, talk soft, talk of time done.

When sleep gives peace to carry through the night,
We plan for things to do in the coming light,
Rushing back attending things left undone
Hoping to sit there in tomorrows sun.

Gloom

(sigh) There are times when we have unfinished business to attend to and we must spring-clean what we left behind us, but I know once we do so, the future will always be clear and bright to us all! (smiles) This is a wonderfully contemplative poem, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Aszard, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

I don't have the words to say how this touches me....or how deeply. I'm keeping this

Professor, a very apt and timely piece
while some now slumber, rest in peace
take the trowel and move the weed
for now we tend to yester year's seed

Thank you.

but there lies the eternal conflict how to sit and relax without one's mind racing off to do those tasks..well expressed...you're giving me an idea I'd like to expand on

Place gravity and naivety on the justice scale and you will see they balance out. Have a good one. Enjoyed

This is a lovely peaceful piece of writing....I was able to reflect freely myself while motivated by your words. Many years and memories having floated by under the bridge.
Oh well like you I'll get some of it done in the next day or so! Maybe!

But tomorrow's sun may not come, or we may not greet its rise. And tears may fall from another's eyes.
