In gray of night beneath yon moon
with pen in flow of sadness word
Upon the hand in palm is held
a whisper’s sigh unseen once heard

Letters in fall of page in lines
in dark of stroke and tremble pen
within the eyes of beauty’s rest
as salted tears now stream of then

Lone hearts of sand in single speck
in drift of tides and water’s flow
tumble blindly 'mong wave in reeds
as shimmer’s eyes in gleam bestow

‘Pon wane of moon and fall of stars
till breeze of heart does not remain
when wisp of sound on hear does tell
as will the grace of lightest rain.

Two hearts in beat and soul retreat
into the walk of stillness light
become of once when then complete
from whisper touch in wane of night

Magnus I feel as I know you, your hand and heart have reached out and touched me many many times. Your writing is incredibly beautiful carrying within it an indefinable quality that shows the worth of the man. We all have our favourite writers, Mum and Emma both have you in their top five, I have you in my top two. Your writing is incredibly descriptive and well presented. YOU are one of the stars that light the heavens.

This is superb writing

Krissy...

You put a huge smile on my face...Your words
are most definitely enjoyed and what you
have written is by far the single greatest
compliment ever written to me.....so very
eloquently...

Needless to say...    THANK YOU!

Barry

You have a gift of sounding like one of the old romantic poets...from a time long gone, and yet with a fresh heart from today.  I enjoy reading you, and you.

Martie....thanx much...that is a style
that has fascinated me for years...and I
try to make a poem flow of that feel...

Another poetess had made a comment that I
should change my name to "The Renaissance Man"...

Guess that says something too...

Thanx dear lady....

When I desire to read a piece seven times ...
I 'know' the poet did something very, very right~

Hello Barry

Krissy has summed up perfecly how I also feel.  You are a gentle man of honour whose words touch the hearts of so many.  Your words literally glow on these pages and feel privileged to have shared in such beauty.

Take care my friend......Sue
