Listening to every heart

Still

Stay still, and feel the completeness of it all,

feel silk breezes breathe across your body
tingling sun’s rays kiss your flesh

stay still, feel the completeness of it all,

feel sand move silently beneath your bare feet,
hear bluebells soft whisper in the wind
hold sands within your hand, feeling their crystalline edge

stay still, feel the completeness of it all,

smell summer’s scent again.

Stay still, feel the completeness of it all,

close your eyes as into cool lapping water you walk,
waters falling and dogwood calling
silently, no sound of body’s talk

feel small minnows drifting, wiggling past lean limbs
lean back and float with eyes upraised

stay still, feel the completeness of it all.

Gaze now upon azure of unending sky
and billowing cumulus clouds on high
this moment, so now, so totally complete

because you are still, feeling complete in awe.

Magnificent...you brought summer alive for me...which is a very good thing...we got a winter storm yesterday and still have over a foot and a half of snow on the ground....I think someone doesn't know it is may...thank you for the wonderful feeling of summer...

Sunshine,
I took a quiet few minutes and this read like a meditation for me....
I could actually feel the tension drain from my body.
Much like 'listen to the warm'
Gosh how I love how this reads and feels!
Into my library it goes!

Both poem and photo were gorgeous, Karilea...

Gaze now upon azure of unending sky
and billowing cumulus clouds on high
this moment, so now, so totally complete

because you are still, feeling complete in awe.

We must never take God's creations for granted.....we should appreciate nature's beauty and never say we will do it tomorrow.....because, none of us is ever promised a tomorrow....all we havc is today
and we should learn to appreciate what we have and see around us today.

~ hugs today

"complete in awe"

i like that, a bit of a twist in the right spot... gives new meaning to an old phrase.

Auntie Kari I get the chance to reply to this beautiful piece of yours, it has such a delightful flow, and carries within it the beauty of summer. Very well written.

Mum is sleeping the injection she was given having worked at last, I know that if she could she’d be replying, and certainly she would be to this one It is beautiful

Love and warm stuff

Karilea you and Martie sure can paint some wonderful word pictures when you write from the soul like this.
Virtual reality carried me completely through all of this.....I relaxed
I'll tell you what I wrote to Martie....your images are so LUSH!

You folks are fantabulous...it IS fun to just be "still" for a moment, and to feel the earth move...

Thank you!
