On Water

There are puddles:
muddy, messy –
doomed to quickly vaporize;
ponds,
where scum-spawned pollywogs surface
and life is sticky-sweet;
and lakes,
where time gathers in slow,
purple dreams.

Then there are oceans,
moody as the moon,
amaranthine,
wild within her depths.

Begs the question of whether we are a messy puddle or a deep ocean...I like this Corinne, and I like the presentation, too...

(smiles) YAY!!! Yes, may we sail every large ocean and get our hands dirty among the puddles as we play in the spring and summer and walk on water wherever we may go! (kiss on cheek) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Corinne, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

think I'll write another version on the theme
of water, if you don't mind..your poem depicts destiny in a special way.

A deep beyond all color,
beyond all sounding too,
the ocean's true alluring,
for want of better
....blue.   RMW

Nicely done, Corrinne. I'm well, thank you. As are you, I trust. Bob
