Her smile is sometimes a storm,
yet her rain will not wet --
no sleep in cool remembered scent.
No easement in her lightning tongue.

Her voice is sometimes a thorn.
A clutch to me so piercing close.
To proffer blood up for her rose.
Watch its colors fold, unchanging.

Time is sometimes unspent whens.
Spooling warmth above rock forms.
You can hear its slowly moving.
Hover as we lay below.

At the point of exhaustion.
Flowers do not leave the soil.
Where the gate seems sanded shut.
And what comes does so in toil.

She said burn ... together.

Ah, Sen. My constant poetic companion.   Here's a secret of my verse -- almost any time I say "She", I actually mean "me"! Shhh... don't tell.

Basically, ah'm just really, really, really tired. And ah'm not sure why. Thanks for yr concern and yr friendship. Talk to ya.

Mike....Exhaustion and being tired is
exactly what I derived from this.

Well done! ...  Time for a nap, I think!

My thoughts are exactly as Sandra says...
You write beautifully when tired...
Get some rest, kick back and relax.
Love the write!
