A sun in rise upon the Glen, In search of now, in quest of when
A light of day in course of veins, in still of night as softness rains.
As moon above becomes the light and stars in love return the night
When whispers flow in slight of breeze and lovers take a moment seize

A sun in flame to quench desire, a number’s game in tune of lyre
A walk at dusk in search of path, a talk in lust within the bath.
As bodies meld to be but one, to bask in dwell and feel the sun
Where visions born do come to eyes and mem’ries torn ‘gain realize.

As souls do walk the quiet of eve and lover’s talk in hurried leave
from moments of a tender touch, to wanting of a treasured much
Till time so tells the heart to flee from love in swell and rhapsody
the love of one shall be of two in flight of dove and passion true.

Magnus darling boy always this flows over my soul like honeyed wine. Never do you fail to enchant and bewitch me with your wondrous words. Do I love this you knew I would? I even forgive you for responding to the terrible duo. Everyone knows I will win anyway, if they get too uppity I have the ultimate sanction……… I’ll cut them off at the knees, by stopping their access.

However I know I can always count on your support….. MMmmmm? You know who your fan base is darling heart don’t you Big smile
Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the eathquake wind and fire
Oh

My favorite line and this is my first reply by the way, is "A sun in flame to quench desire, a number’s game in tune of lyre"
This has a great quallity to it, have you been writing long?

Msflame,

I am flattered my poem is your first post..
Welcome to Passions..

To answer your question....I have been
writing for about one year now....I dabbled
in poetry briefly about...oh my,  about
14 years ago...  And only in this last year
have I seriously devoted my time to writing.

I try to write of and from the heart...

I thank you for your words...

Ok, Barry, I'm probably way off base with this, but what I see is very oriental in nature, a scene, perhaps, from Shogun...what, you weren't going there?  Ah well, it's where your words took me, and glad I was for it...

KJ....nice try....nope, not oriental,  darn!
Guess I will have to change it around a
little and put a Samurai and Mount Fuji
in the background or something to give it
that oriental flavor....Sayonara, Kudasai!
