Tonight, beneath the line of the trees,
we will light a candle to scent the breeze.
A single flame to hold her memory.
Tonight, beneath the line of the trees.

Tomorrow, below the line of the sky,
the candle in smoke will become part of the sky.
The same questions will linger of how and why.
Tomorrow, even the sun will sigh.

She said burn ... together.

you have a kind heart.....lovely words for a dear friend to all.....

softly...

Lauren~

I would rather have one breath of his hair,
one kiss of his mouth,
one touch of his hand
than an eternity without it.

The candle and the smoke never really disappear. They just relocate.
A very tender write, Michael.

Mike hi there that you have taken the time to create such a superbly crafted poem to offer in some way comfort to Larry shows without doubt how compassionate and loving you are. Beautiful writing and amazing sentiments, but over all the love you feel for Larry C must give his soul some measure of comfort in a time of inconsolable grief

This is Emma Mushy’s youngest daughter here

lots of love

what we have lost
be born together.
Nice poem,
