Lac de la Lune

roughly translated the title meansLake of the Moon

Moonlight shimmers o'er ghostly waters
"lac du la lune", the body that carters
rowers sent to steer
into distances of foggy nights
by the keeper of the clock
lives are spent in travel
flocks gather at the dock

Flocks wait in expectation
exodus from ports of call
browned picture reveals ones that fall
onto lands spotted with human lakes,
on the "lac de la lune",
how many rowers does it take?
will this tradition break?

Of the rowers that carter off human cargo
along Nile-like course,
rivers of life's forces
watery voyages continues, unabated
on "lac de la lune",
where rowers have waited...
flocks gather in time,
wait in expectation,
to honor the keeper of the clock
sheep flow to the dock.

and this one's inspired by a French Canadian film of a similar title..a man's destiny to this endless moonlit lake.
