I try so hard and come up short, I’m always over looked because everyone wants you, No matter the effort I put in, You always surpass me, So why do I want to be just like you? I look up to you more then you'll ever know, I want to live you life, But for now I will sit in your shadow, Until it is my time |

Hi IKNAP! This is such a sad writing. I don't believe in 'waiting in the shadows' for something or someone, because life is too precious to waste that way, but I definately can remember feeling exactly the way your writing 'feels' when I was younger.  (big hugggsssssss) This is so very sad, sweet friend, I too know just how you feel, and I know how unhealthy it is to wait in the shadows for an answer rather than going on and enjoying life until they come fluttering in your face but I know how you feel and my heart goes out to you!
