she is approaching now
lady day of rain
by spin of chance
I see her myst

I smell her damp perfume
I know her signs
when she walks close
before she enters

the dark trees speak of her
with rustle leaves
from her wind breath
I listen with dry hungry

I love the last line. I listen with dry hungry, what a fantastic image it paints.

(smiles) Awwwwww, I love this sweet friend, I know this kind of perfume ever so much, for whenever it does rain here, sometimes I can smell lilac and jasmine in the air and I always daydream of my love just smelling the air! (big hugggssssss) This is wonderful, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Dark, I too love the scent and feelings
just before the rain arrives.
But you said it wonderfully.

DS darling boy what a delight it is to read your writing. I’m always, eternally stunned by the way you shape and form a poem. This is outstandingly good. Wonderful writing, excellent utterly utterly perfect. I absolutely love it.

The depth of the moment is encapsulated in this brilliant jewel of writing. In other words I love it utterly

from clouds
straining with moisture
droplets fall,
wind dancing
to greet parched earth
with splashes
of life's nectar...
he lifts his face
and remembers the valley green
and blossom scents
in her hair

with sea side breath

as they brushed her smile edges
