Magics Bridged A tendril of magic Like a vine winding its way thru crevices in a stone wall Wove its way into her unconsciousness while she slept Vining around and thru those parts it recognized Separate in their characteristics But mingled so that one magic would draw upon the other Effortlessly She tossed in fitful dreams woke breathing heavily Her body drenched with sweat heart pounding within her breast A numbness encompassing her mind which gradually faded Leaving an imprint of the tendril and its source He lay within the dim glow of the cavern Chin between huge taloned claws tail curled around his enormous body Catlike Scales shimmering Spines bristling Wings folded Eyes closed Seemingly asleep But not Their two magics bridged He could see her sleeping form toss through the root of the tendril And sense her magic as it melded with his own He felt the jolt as she woke with a start curious at her reactions to the sensations she experienced These reactions Heavy breath Sweat soaked body Pounding heart were foreign to him As he pulled back on the tendril recalling it to himself He marveled at the complex deliciousness of them.
