Waiting Until Tomorrow

I would love for you to sit on my lap
and whisper sweet nothings into my ear.
Then I could kiss you and rub your back
while I held you near.

You could flirt with me
and put on a modeling show.
And I would smile at you
because I love you so.

We will do all of these things.
Oh yes I'm as sure as ever.
Wish I wasn't at work right now.
Looks like we'll be waiting
until tomorrow to spend this
time together.

Mmmm .... the wait is a pleasant tease.
Its nice to know that tomorrow will always have its rewards.
Best of luck getting through the day!

I enjoyed the poem, James. And ctowen, I misread yr reply as "The wait is a pleasant taste." Thanks for the inspiration for adult.
