morning is a bowl of orange Jell-O sun
on table cloth of blue sky
day sinks down in ocean quilt
of green with white wave patches
dried on line with salt air breezes

I watch you there on horizon
you are girl woman small
with tall woman shadows
that touch my hands and eyes
you cover sand with your shade

we put our shapes on together
like soft dark shirts with out buttons
they hang around our shoulders
and cover our one love fitting
we are black stone under dark trees then

evening is a bowl of orange Jell-O sun
on wrinkle blanket sand
night reclines on an ocean quilt
of shimmer with emerald wave patches
dried flat on sea air bed

we are day memories touching sigh sky

(big hugggssssss) Awwwwww, I love this, sweet friend, I just love the dawn to dusk sequence you used and how loves afterglow is symbolic to the sun soaked into the beach sands! (smiles) This is soooo lovely, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Those were the words I was looking for...
I am so glad someone clever found them...
and used them so very well...

Dark - this poem is so full of beautiful pictures, it makes me dizzy with delight. Going into my library! Chris

the jello analogies and imagery of this is brilliant...the sensual expression is as always, breathtaking.

you are girl woman small
with tall woman shadows

that line is cooler that even I know.

DS darling boy you know I love this utterly darling boy don’t you? Sometimes the images you paint with your amazing words slip into the place within where shadows dream of being free. Sometimes the thought you stir lifts me into the imaginable place between dream and tomorrow’s song. I’m sure it happens with you more than any other writer. This is stunning writing pure wonder thank you for this memory’s gift I love it utterly utterly love it

That line is so cool!

DS, the imagery in this is amazing, I love everything about it.  You are a gifted poet, indeed.  I'm saving this one~

Take care,
