It was in late September
When LongJohn was conceived
It was a chilly evening
In 1943.

Twins the doctor said,
And then just nine months later
His mother's water broke
She was finally in labor.

Seven long hours later
The twins were finally born
His mother was ecstatic
Tired, sore and worn.

The twins were not identical
A baby and fecies,
The baby died, LongJohn survived
The epitome of his species!

I noticed that Long John had dropped by today... just in time to be inspiration! LOL

What a break for you, dear Toe
That Long John did survive
Having each other as targets
Makes both of you thrive!

LOL... I hope LJA sticks around long enough to give you what you're asking for with this tell-all expose, dear one...

His mother labored seven hours
To give birth to our friend
Now he'll labor just as long
To get you back again! *G*

Toerag this is funny I like this a lot, you and Long John both have me in stitches. This is a very good riposte I think. And if it’s war and no doubt it is I shall enjoy it even more. A good war of words, you lob a bomb which explodes harmlessly, Long John lobs one, the range gets nearer, the words get clearer and the fallout is wonderful to watch. Rather like watching a pyrotechnic display, lots of bangs and oohhhhs and ahhhhhhhs, and pretty harmless really.

You are harmless aren’t you? Mostly so! that’s good.

Excellent writing I like this I like this a whole lot

That's okay, shadows... my money is ALWAYS on Toe! *G*

Git off that fence, you waffling bug man... you make an awfully cute cheerleader... but wouldn't you rather jump in than be a sitting target? *G*

Oh, Toe! How could 'ya sink so low?

Ya need a cleansing spring
one that doesn't ripple
with some wild, young thang!
