Inspired by Micheal:

Your Tick is my Tick

We are but a tick of a clock.
A grain of sand in rhyme
A moment of humanity
Within the human time

We are something and nothing,
A bee within a hive
And but for the tiniest trick
We know that were alive.

Weather you think glad or
Ill is nothing to the mill.
For change is our eternity
And forever is the spill.

We are a part of all that is
And is, will turn to was.
In the blink of an eyelid and
The only answer is because.

So dream my friend I beg of you
Since change is ever toward the new.

Don't you be trying to make Sy tock... I'd much rather see him just keep on ticking...

(sigh) Yes, I think we all have evolved from the earliest times so we have a piece of everyone within us and we change so quickly so it is safe to say there will always be a change around the bend but yet, I always wonder also what will be conserved? (big hugggsssssss) This is excellent, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

A tick, a moment caught in time
A word, a poem, lost in rhyme
The wisdom from fair poet's heart
On pages blue to us impart
And from the screen to world outside
Two poets stood there side by side
As time stood still, then froze in place
And hugged as they met face to face

...missing those hugs Sy,wonderful poem and give Isabelle my love and best regards

Seymour darling boy this is utterly utterly excellent, I can really relate to this today. Time is flowing through my soul in a stream and I feel as if I’ve caught in it’s tide and can’t slow its pace. Yes I know that we can’t and to think we control time is an illusion but one I was happy with

Your writing is always exceptionally well presented and written in this case it is utterly utterly superb. I love this darling boy it is truly wonderful

Love and warm stuff

Ruth,
A hug from you just makes my day. I hope you are well and getting some good news for a change.

Marsha,
Although you write the same, my comments seem to be a little different.

Don't you worry Sy dear,
I'll protect your tock.
If Balladeer threatens you
I'll just "clean his clock!"

I'll do anything for you,
just ask any old time.
I want your ticker tocking,
so we get our daily rhyme!

Dang, I know it doesn't rhyme but
I'm starving LOL.  Loved this poem Sy.

Let's spend less time worrying about when our life is going to end, and more on when it's going to start!

When I saw the title and that Balladeer had inspired it, my thought was "A good bug man should be able to get rid of EVERYONE's ticks! LOL) But at last my mind did click...
You're talking of another tick! *G*

This is great, Seymour... very thought-provoking. *S* I enjoyed it very much.
