I Love You Still

I’ve felt this withdrawal of your heart
Felt the distance as it pulls us apart
But I’m not giving up nor giving in
I know our love is still there within
I’ll raise my eyes to the light ahead
Keep faith with my soul, keep it fed
With love’s pure song that lives in me
I’ll not fall into despair’s misery

I’ve felt the ice begin to form in you
Now it’s working its way all through
But I can warm your heart once more
Let me lift your soul so it can soar
The love that’s grown in this last year
Is still within I can feel its here
Don’t let this love fade away and die
Please give your heart one more try

I’ve felt the separation of your touch
Even while I still need you so much
This emptiness leaves you far too cold
Let me give you some warmth to hold
I can warm the fires bringing you heat
Or touch you in places hot and sweet
Just whisper to me ‘I love you still’
And end by saying and I always will
