Failing

At night I try to, undisturbed
but fail, my body acts on me.
No longer is it mine to drive,
my inside wants the out to be.

And so I'm sleepness one more time
as thoughts of you keep entering.
Comfort now, has lost its cause
on life of mine, yours centering.

Those arms that could, just are not there.
Those lips I wish, seem not to care.
I lay me down time-in-between
the emptiness, becomes routine.

Once again I'm here beside
to catch a bit of maybe you.
The silence reigns, the dampness flows
the ever-want brings morning dew.

Just because I seek it so
a world that holds a place for me
imprisoned without want, I feel
'til morning comes to set me free.

M

The emptiness of missing someone was captured here in powerful verse. Blessings that the arms that surround you next will make you sing more.

This is beautiful, Maureen...
I have been dreaming of my late first husband a lot lately for some reason, so I really identify with this.

Once again I'm here beside
to catch a bit of maybe you.

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Maureen, this is so very powerful, sweet friend, I relate to this so very well because there is one girl I feel so very strongly about that I love so very much, Joanna, and I dream ever so much of being with her but right now I cope with the loneliness in meeting her someday! (kiss on cheek) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Maureen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
