I feel your heart in slow soft beat
I see your eyes in reflect meet
With a smile, you turn to me
In bare whisper I hear the plea

Take unto what is yours
Give to me on highland moors
Touch me in a soft caress
Leave us not in any duress

Under skies of night velvet black
With stars so many there is no lack
Breeze does blow from seas of green
To wrap and hold in gentle lean

Eyes do hold in silent fast
Arm do fold in soft of grasp
For this may be all we can be
For on the morrow I leave on the sea

In my thoughts you will always live
To you, my heart I simply give
Tears may glisten in both our eyes
For this to last, all our lives

Do not sigh, nor do you grieve
For the sea is calling me
If I could, I would stay awhile
But the other lands, lay many a sea mile

Better this be, that I tell you true
Before we begin in loving pursue
A mistress I have that calls to me
Deep in the  bosom of the raging sea

But lovers take what they can find
Though they know of the remind
For the moment to last for lifetime keep
When the souls do take in heaven deep

Hi Logan

This is so romantically sad...yet beautiful in heart.

Oh this reminds me of a painting that the name has slipped my mind, but it is of another "Master", and I feel this could nicely sit right under that picture Logan.  Beautifully done.

We should spend less time worrying about when our life is going to end and more on when it's going to start!

Should the Lady stand in mist
to linger over one last kiss
before her man sails to the Seas
he holds steadfast her heart to ease

Should she let him travel far?
t'would be to catch a falling star
for he shall go forth as he please
to sail once more those seven Seas

He'll bear the brine to come again
it's hers to know but where, and when

this forum greatly lacks when your rhymes are not being whispered on the wind.
very gentle smile with a *hint hint* and a *nudge nudge*

When your own emptiness is all thats getting through
There comes a point when youre not sure why youre still talking...
I passed that point long ago

Logan,  I would have liked to have written
something similar to this...on the many
voyages on the seas that I departed on...

Lots of emotions from each departure...
and even more on each return...
