Mothers

Have you ever wondered of her never ending love
And how she puts aside for you, the things she’s dreaming of
Perhaps some day you’ll recognize the sacrifice she’s made
Perhaps you’ll realize a mother’s love will never fade
You have the greatest gift of love that God has e’er bestowed

Magnificent the power of the little seeds she sewed
Of every birthday candle lit, and every story told
There is a little seed that bears a beauty to behold
How carefully she cared for you , and never did she cease
Each day was dedicated to your welfare and your peace
Reward to her was laughter, and a hug was all she sought
So diligent her efforts in the principles she taught

Don’t ever fail to call her, though you may be far away
And wish the one who loves you so, a Happy Mother’s Day
You are the light that shines upon her soul in every way

Very, very pretty Elizabeth.

We should spend less time worrying about when our life is going to end and more on when it's going to start!

Elizabeth,

I'm often saying, "You know, I always come last!"  As mom to three boys, I come last by choice.  Your poem, in it's pure honesty, describes how significant it is for a mother to protect, teach and love her children.  It is by choice, now, that I put my family first, and appreciate the many many years that my own mother went through this same journey, making the same sacrifices, "by choice".  There truly is not greater love!  Happy Mother's Day!

Liz,

You have penned in perfection what and who
a mother is.

And your gentle reminder to call, to say to
that Mother....that she is appreciated and
loved,  is simply how it should be...

Thank You..

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO THE WOMAN I PICK AS MOTHER OF THE YEAR!

I truly love my son, but I sure wish my "little family" was there sharing Mother's Day with all of your family, drowning in all that love, sitting at a picnic table in your daughter's yard, and playing with all those grandchildren of yours.  Liz you are truly blessed! Happy Mother's Day sweetie.
