Caiya Rhiannon Bustamante

Tranquility of Parenthood…

Sounds of tiny breath
Translucent and soft
Piercing mental slumber
Echo walls, float off…
~Tranquility~

Fluttering of movement
Gentle infinity
‘Cross the room I feel you
The smallest part of We…
~Completeness~

By daylight, smiles light my worry
Of the way it’s suppose to be
I’ve realized you’re good at this
I only have to look to see…
~Perfection~

Fingers so miniature reach out
To wrap the smallest things
Be it hair or animal
You’re amazed with “just being”…
~Wonder~

Being soul and center focus
We parents have it best I’m told
The many hours of laughter
Cast from our little eight month old…
~Paternal Admiration~

For Caiya Rhiannon…our epitome of "daughter"…

Open arms can be the most fragile in the world...

Absolutely beautiful, both the poem and your girl!  This piece is exceptional Devina!

forgot to paint...

I love this! It brought back many memories for me, and a huge smile. Thank you, and well done!
