When voices fade and whispers leave
as lightning flashes, thunder rolls
sparkling drops of quenching wet rain
fall silent as distant bell tolls

Morning dew blankets petals soft
upon the green, the matted floor
Birds sing melodic lover’s tunes
breezes softly open, close the door

Steps in time trail beyond the sight
as rays burn away welcome dew
A lover’s loft in wait of tryst
reflects a tone of passion’s hue.

Falling light bringing rise of stars
as hens return to nest and lay
Lovers lie in wait of the night
as fireflies flicker in display

When voices fade and whispers leave
a meadow green turns down the beds
as lovers lie in warm embrace
and passion's visions turn two heads

Magnus darling boy you are a weaver of stars incandescent dreams WOW this is utterly utterly delightful you’ve written an absolute diamond here. The flow of thought in this is wonderful and the rhyme absolutely divine. I love the image this brings so softly tender of lovers and soft whispered dreams

You know I adore this too don’t you, my sweet and dear friend, and do I forgive you for always outshining me? What do you think? Mmmm of course I do, how could I not

Truly excellent writing, I love it utterly utterly utterly.
