Death Of Heart

I know you think your souls in night
And that you have no hope of light
I hear the sound of soul’s soft scream
As you struggle in nightmare’s dream
But don’t you know this hurts me too
As I fight to find my way back through
I can’t bear to see the death of heart
As this depression rips you apart

I know you feel the dark draws near
And I can taste the salt of fear
When I see the look inside your eyes
I witness soul’s heart wrenching sighs
But do you wonder what I can see
I’m watching the loss of you and me
I can’t take the hurt of hearts goodbye
Or watching love’s light slowly die

I know you say that you feel dead
Can’t fight this loss inside your head
But I can taste the remains of bliss
Still lingering in your beloved kiss
Tell me that I’m not touching pain
As I softly stroke your heart again
I don’t want you packing me away
With all your joy of hope and play

Marsha
