Between the Lines

Out of Reach

I've schemed my life in stowaway
my colors false, present a front.
I've thought I found it, held on tight
but it was just a treasured hunt

of sometimes words and sometimes feels
and meetings once upon a blue.
I'm out of reach and out of touch,
there is no more that you can do.

I've known it maybe for a while
the heart has always, skipping beats.
Sometimes what's best stays deep in hide
until the dark admits defeat.

I am deflated in many ways
no longer tempted by window show.
Undressed, the masks I've tossed away,
and now it's time for me to know....

or maybe time for me to go...

M

Maureen darling girl, this is utterly divine, as always your writing far surpasses the mere brilliant and is superb. You know I love this, that is a given of course.

The lines are truly exquisite and YOU know I utterly utterly love it. Why is it do you suppose that your writing far surpasses the mere ordinary and soars into wonderment? Well, whatever the reason I utterly utterly love it

Love and warm stuff

(sigh) This is sooooooo poignant and powerful, sweet friend, it can indeed be like a scavenger hunt sometimes but I know you will find the ladders you need and you will climb high to the precipice of where you want your heart to go! (big hugggsssss) This is excellent, sweet friend, I love how you always say it as it is, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Maureen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
