Once upon a midnight bleary
while I toiled so weak and weary
whence a knocking came to be
at the door of my balcony

Hark I say, who comes in night
and scares me silly in fright
Do you know the dog is nigh
and from his perch he’ll fly

Lie down thy rod and thy knife
for 911 is now guarding my life
My phone is all which I can use
so come on down, don’t abuse.

I tell you now, I tell you well
my dog and I are gonna tell
The cops are here to get you
so..what is you now gonna do

Though moon is full and bright
that knock gave me such fright
Turns out it was the Balladeer
needed to potty after his beer.

I guess I will post a sign
point the way, draw a line
The men’s room is OOC
and ‘deer, old buddy...

you ain’t no lady!

Michael....this is retribution for the comment about Larry C’s hair that I borrowed.....

(giggles in delight) Ooohhhhhhh...run for cover, it's the war of the Hair-Raisers! LOL! When I first saw the title, I was thinking "What did he do and what is the cause of the retribution?" then I laughed at the comment on the bottom! (sigh) This is delightful, sweet friend, we all love you so much, I'm getting away now! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Barry, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Aw, Larry, you don't understand
Insulting you I had not planned
You don't need hair upon that perfect dome.
This way's more suitable for you
You don't need money for shampoo
And you don't need to carry 'round a comb!

Tell Larry C to keep his hair.
You don't need anything up there.
May your head shine like beacons in the night.
And if a sprout should dare appear
Just call your buddy Balladeer
And I will pull it out with much delight!

Adorable poem, Barry and I agree with Sue about the hair...you look fine just the way you are...
But about this potty thing...didn't you know that wherever there is a man, there is a men's room?
We women aren't quite so lucky if you know what I mean...
