For Mother's Day It's Mother's Day again...another year you're gone I just finished listening to our favorite song "Wind Beneath my Wings" you are that and so much more The air beneath my feathers as I quietly soar You're the inspiration behind my ink, I see you though you're no longer here It's you that softly holds me, while I gently wipe away a tear You're the rainbow in the midst of my laughter, the sunshine to my day My dearest friend you are, and it will always remain this way You may be in heaven, and I down here without you Today I won't cry though...my soul isn't painted in shades of blue Though I can't hear your voice, I feel you whisper when the trees gently sway I know that you are here with me, each and everyday It's Mother's Day and though you aren't here for me to celebrate with I still pay tribute to the woman who I with my whole heart miss You were more than just a mom, you were my one true best friend Our bond is eternal, we'll see each other again So go join the Angels again and please don't weep for me It's your never ending love that allowed me to be set free So frolic and play, and be young at heart, as I light a candle true I love you Mom...Happy Mothers Day to you. Amy darling lil sis this is wonderful writing, you never cease to amaze me, your mama raised an absolute diamond. Your writing illuminates the page with your love for her and her love for you shines through every single word. This is as is utterly utterly wonderful darling heart. You know I absolutely love this don’t you. Utterly utterly perfect. How can you write so consistently well? I know you simply write and how it turns out is in the lap of fate. I do know that she is proud of you darling heart and so am I.
