On A Journey To The Unknown

We never knew she was expecting
Until that Sunday morning
When we walked out in the back
And there he was just laying

He tried several times to stand
Still too week, it would fall down
Towards the end of the day
He was walking all around

Following along behind her baby
Trying to make sure he was safe
She watches him like a mother hen
Trying to keep him in one place

The little one wants to explore
So he walks all around
Checking everything out
He might find on the ground

We can only watch at a distance
Miss Daisy will spit on us
If we even try to get near him
She really puts up a fuss
