Near golden sunsets

A desperate moon shines through wispy dreams
And I can only picture an illusory shape
Twirling amid the sparkling stars.

Softness flutters across half-closed lids
Quietly impeaching with a casual caress.
Silence echoes the late night’s breeze.
Steady breaths placate a desperate moon.

You can't wake a person who is pretending to be asleep. -- Navajo Proverb

Philip!  I am impressed!

If I whisper, will you listen?...
I would rather be silent and write, than speak loudly and be bound.

This...has the rhythm of tides implicit.

You, my friend, strike natural chords within.
