Making No Sense

You've been there before with me
there, where I drift in an out of memories,
shading me from the blinding light
as you walk beside me
in protective care.
Your eyes never bruise as they
stare, reading into me,
lingering just long enough
for me to feel a blush begin.

Tell me please, my eyes beg,
but in the moonlight, the shadows
hide my want.
I blink back my thoughts
reaching out for your hand
to touch my heart and feel,
feel the rhythm that calls to you.
It is there, when I am feeling loneliest
there, that I can bring you to me at will.

I can't write of love's intensity
only of its caresses, as I lose the fear
of its hold on me.
I can't recall exactly each date
to celebrate as every moment's meet
remains special to me.
I can't even write today
of the depth of it all
as I sit here, thinking
how I am in transition, but feel
that I may never rise above it all
and feel the real of you again.

M

Maureen this is one of your loveliest writes, its flow and construction are wonderful and its words are beautiful. I love this The way it flows over the page like a soft sigh

(big hugggssssss) Oh Maureen, this is so powerfully heartfelt, sweet friend, I hope soon you can agian feel the joys of love in its completeness and write of all the thoughts you dream of writing, though the words of love you write are always wonderful and intense! (kiss on cheek) This is lovely, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Maureen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
