Waiting for Time

Awaited moments ride the hush
Of whispered visions in a rush
And fill the mind with bouncing springs
Upon life's stationary wings

The time will come on tiptoe shoe
And peek from out a shadow’s view
To tap you on your shoulder cuff
As though a word were not enough

Then startled eyes quite unaware
There were no moments left to spare
Seem unprepared to pull ashore
The vessel they’d been waiting for

And all the time they stood alone
To pace vibrations of a groan
So concentrated and remote
They missed life’s most enchanting boat

(smiles) Oh Elizabeth, this is so very true, sweet friend, it is so very sad when we yearn for something so much and get absorbed in it, and then we realize how the true essence we weren't desiring is what we lost when we waste so much time in the end! (big hugggsssssss) May we always embrace every moment with hope and joy, sweet friend, CARPE DIEM!!! We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is wonderful! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Elizabeth, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

You mean..you did not write this for Mysteria to quietly tell her that all the hand clapping and foot stomping is for naught if you have missed the boat anyway?   ...

I was told by a maestro of words to forget the rhyming, and to go with my strong points...

and so I am!  I hereby leave the rhyming to the masters and mistresses of Passions, with great thanks, for showing us how to do it write...er, right!

Sunshine
LOL, Mysteria doesn't need to clap or stomp. Her thoughts flow so beautifully from within. As for me, I was born with meter and had to dredge the rest out of life. Now it's simple. Thanks, oh poetess of great diversity
