  (smiles) Oh Sharon, this is beautiful, sweet friend, I too always marvel over how vines can grow so fast and bring so much enchantment to walls and temples and give them that kind of pompadour effect granted by Mother Nature! I just read your lovely Lilac tanka and now this perfect Haiku....I see your stretching that pen in all directions.... (less table banging with these, right?)  *L*what a cool pic...Ivy has such a stoic grace about it. thank you for sharing the beaty that surrounds you..our spring has been late and very wet!! Beautiful Sharon, reminds me of my own home which is covered in Boston Ivy...just coming into leaf now....at times we have to beat it back with a broom though...lol...lovely, simply lovely. ~Hugs~ |

Wow Victoria, I saw that when I was in Texas and it was really beautiful. I didn't really see grass there as I know it to be here, thick, lush and really green, so the ivy is awesome ground cover. |
