Bright light shines Where darkness once reigned White clouds in skies of blue Where storms of hate once raged Angels sing their hymn of love Filling the mind with hope Once tormented by inner demons Cursing with their acid tongues The nightmares finally end And the hope of tomorrow comes alive No longer must sorrow haunt me For love and joy fill my heart My beautiful angel has brought to me The joy I once thought could never be My journey ends at the gates of heaven After suffering in the confines of hell I know now and forever The joys of the love we share Never again will I suffer The slings and arrows of sorrow No longer will the storms rage in my heart For our love will guide us through the night The sun will forever shine bright Upon the happiness my angel brings For my heart to cherish always Fear destroys the mind, depression destroys the soul... only love and compassion may save you from death. |
