When I expose my feelings something inside of me
tells me I won't be the same.
I read the morning news I get the longing blues
too many thoughts I can't explain.

Give me good news where can it take me
what can it do for me to make me a man.
The worst won't break me but never escape me
the rest can heal me and I can heal the rest.

When I see a moonbeam above a silent stream
like a vision in the night,
I see the wisdom I see the everything
I see the only peace in sight.
It's there I get thinking what makes it all so bold
when you're living the gift of life
those precious times glow Lord I'd like to know
                          where I'm going by good-bye.

Give me good news where can it take me
what can it do for me to make me a man
the worst won't break me never escape me
the rest can heal me I can heal the rest.

And if I stayed there I'd never get anywhere
but I can come back in time.
It's in that moonbeam it's in that silent stream
                         it's in the reason there's a why.

The role of poetry is to utter the un-utterable; to open up
spaces of consciousness and resistance; to language oppressions; to
re-language historie

I enjoy your writing, and I understand every line. Very soft and spiritual. Thanks for visiting my poem, and glad to do the same for you.

Eric

To ask a question of the wind
to follow path its winding told
to tell the feeling in the rapture
is in the way that you behold

Hugs for the depth in this one!

PT darling boy, Iā€™m completely awed by this delight. Oh how you write, and how much I love it when you do so. Phrases as elegant as only you know how to present them, flow like a clear stream of liquid light, words placed with the delicacy of a master confectioner places his sugared violets. This is utterly utterly divine. Purely magical darling boy, utter bliss

(big hugggssssssss) Oh Eric, I know just how you feel, I'm tired and always depressed when I hear of bad news all the time in the world while there's nothing ever good that comes up, and I only wish we can always turn to what is good, for it is faith and hope that builds us all, and I think there is too much drama in the world, so we are always overdramatic! (sigh) My heart goes out to you, God Bless You, you are a true angel of words and I wish the best for you always, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Eric, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

E-babes!!!!!  bout time you came in here and sang to us
When ever I read you rhymes I cant help but hear your musical influences and the feel the harmonies. Im sure I heard Van backing you up in this one.
So good to come in here and find your name today my friend..tis been too long.

... and I don't know why ...
Why should love come down and just sweep me away
I want to fly ... but there are so many things in my way.

Good news tends to shift the spirit.  I like the self-search in your poem; (not sure if that was part of your meaning).  Some people don't look far enough into themselves to try to view their shortcomings and correct them.
