For Richer , For Poorer

To have and to hold
From this moment on
Is love’s only quest
In a new waking dawn

For richer, for poorer
No heed for itself
For love does not follow
The pathway to wealth

Love always is humble
It carries no shame
And it equally blesses
No matter the name

For better, for worse
Not for fairness of skin
For love knows not beauty
Except that within

A promise to comfort
When spirit is weak
Inherently love seeks
To honor and keep

In sickness and health
To be there by your side
To serve and to help you
With pleasure and pride

Love measures not time
Or the hour of death
It only considers
Its splendor and depth

Love will not leave us
When death do us part
For love in its glory
Lives on in the heart

Love is not selfish
It knows how to give
May we share its abundance
As long as we live

(smiles) Yes, yes, oh Elizabeth, the true meaning and spirit of love is spoken from your heart, sweet friend, it saddens me too to see so many forsaking what love really is and only marrying people for wealth or for good looks when I truly believe the happiest feeling is to love someone because that person makes you feel happy and special! (kiss on cheek) May your life always be blessed with the true beauty of love, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Elizabeth, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Liz, this makes me want to get married all over again, and use this as part of the ceremony.  Maybe I will...to the same guy, of course.  Loved this!

Liz, if I could get that kind of love, I would possibly think of taking a man seriously again.  Simply breathtaking, and the most romantic piece I have read in a very long time.  Loved it!

Elizabeth darling girl this is of course utterly utterly excellent. YES it is, and don’t argue you have such an amazing ability to write of the heart and soul. It’s as if you can actually etch into the heart of the reader. Utterly utterly perfect writing. It is an absolutely beautiful example of your incredible skill. I love it utterly Wonderful writing and so beautifully penned from a poetic angels pen dipped in poets thought ink.

You do know I love this utterly utterly

Liz...I agree,  this says so beautifully
what love is and should be.  Time to do a
little reflecting of what Ifeel I am giving
those I love...

Thank You for this.  Yes,  it could be part
of any couples wedding vows.  And would add
to the ceremony such beauty and grace.
