Winding in peaks of cove cliffed surround
Windows stare in blank eyed amaze
As undulating ocean give high fives
To stone hands holding the footings
All above was built upon

What once harbor seal and whale
Called pristine home in a shared dance
With cormorant or gull that clipped the air
Above white capped lines drawn on angled points
Now lies filled with commerce of pale skinned exposure
To the sun above
Watching
As man changed paradise

Still beauty abounds on sensual shores
Where lovers walk hands palmed together
Trying to touch the vastness inside each other
Perhaps thinking themselves not so insignificant
If anchored in safe harbor with nightly beaching
Of bellies one on the other

Following with my eyes the outline
I can trace in finger painted contours
Where I once was

A heaven, non the less...with water you can see into on blue days.  I do like seeing it through your eyes, my friend.

nodding in agreement with Kari here. I could view the world through your eyes all day (and night, don't doubt THAT) grin?

And yes, this is a delicately written but brilliantly piece. So subtle...

(big hugggssssssss) Oh Ron, I too wish that I could have been born earlier so I can live all the more beauty and innocence we used to have then! (sigh) I too blame the downfall of western civilization on the dollar, it saddens me to see greed and vanity overtake much of the simple love and pastoral serenity we used to share! We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is powerfully provoking! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ron, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

CatHair~ I love the above image, what a thought!
Very nicely penned sir...it evokes sadness, but also an appreciation of the beauty that is still there.

*hugs*
