Perfunctory action
Comes to mine
With penned delight

Expletives demanding
That I bedrock thought
Or was it
Rock my bed

Ha!

The expletive a complete
Huzzah! Of wayward antipathy
For when asked if
Some semblance of ecstasy
Shall see me again

I stroke this, my pen
Knowing that its blood
No matter the blood color
Shall release that
Elation

I would do it for him and
With him but there is no accepting
By him
To these methods nor my means;
To him I cannot speak;
In spite of him
I prime this pump alone.

Some one day
I shall lie on the bedrock
And rock the bed
Simply by penned resolve

Knowing

Someone shall shine.

like the wit related when noun becomes verb and vice-versa...bedrock/rock the bed...here's to comfortable matresses..hehe

(smiles) I agree with Martie, the one who shines IS you and I know all your dreams will come true and your head will always be resting on soft pillows of comfort!
