Words Worth Remembering She was under the impression that I was willing to make concessions but it simply wasn't true. I told her that I could have no part of forever losing you. How could anyone expect me to allow my darkest hour to be her moment of power and glory. No one alive could ever convince me to buy that sad bad story. She said some words to me that I care not to repeat for they body slammed my soul and knocked me off my feet. Words that flowed off her lips and struck me both sour and sweet. Words I never cared to hear and words I wouldn't care to repeat. But now I know I must offer them for there may be ears that are near with need to hear. So I shall say them just this once and forever more be discreet. Hear the words she said and remember them..."Love is a two way street." JamesLee May03 2002 |
