The mad hatter strikes again!

Locus Focus

with the locus
of your focus
on the crocus
in the bed

you might use
your hocus-pocus
to encumber
her sweet head

so you smoke us
and you choke us
with your vanity
and pride

as we linger
neath the finger
of an impish ghoul
who’s cried

in the garden,
or the larder,
in the attic
‘bove my bed

children singing
bluebirds clinging
to the dawning
that’s ahead

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

VAS~ Hehe, wowee!   I enjoyed the fast flow of this, kind of like a chant.  The rhyming makes the beat.

*hugs*
