A Page or Two From My Heart

My life has always been like a book, easy to read, but sometimes hard to understand
You all know what I'm talking about, all the things of us life demands
Rays of sunshine and happiness splashing over into rainy days of blue
These are the pages of my heart, you understand...I know you do

On pages one and two are my family, the ones I love so much
There is no other like a Mother's touch
She has several pages dedicated to her kindred spirit and heart
This book though of my life isn't in exact order, there is no clear start

The pages in the middle represent the love of my life that on a September day I found
These pages make up who I am, they look silent when read, but they really are full of so much sound
The cover isn't that fancy, but what you find inside is wonderful and true
Yes all these pages of my heart, have my successes and failures, my fears, and my dreams coming true

Some might look at this book called my life, and call it cliche, but to me it's my hearts ink
It's what I write about, and the passion is what allows me to think
Some people don't understand me, they just see the smile on my face
If only they looked deeper, they'd realise this girl hasn't been in just one place

So take a page or two from my heart, but tread carefully for it's the essence of me
Once or two a kind soul has read those pages, and helped to set me free
If what you read, you just can't read no more
Just put it back up on the shelf, and we'll call it an even score

"you can't stop
the rain
from pouring down
can't stop the
world from turning 'round
can't stop me from
loving you
no matter
what you do"

Nice. Nope...I'm not putting it back.

(smiles) Oh Amy, this is sooooooo beautiful, yes, it doesn't matter if every page of your life is a cliche or not, for you are a wondeful loving person and friend and I am always blessed when you share your loving thoughts from your heart to us all! (kiss on cheek) May you write many future sequels of true happiness, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Amy, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
