Ebb and Flow

Shadows creeping up a wall
Reaching up to nighttimes call.
Slowly flowing out in ebb
Catching phantoms in the web.

Causing me to form a muse
Lucid with the coming blues
Making clouds into a spell
Placing me in wonders dwell.

And chariots ride the sky
With horses and wings that fly
And treasure falls from out the blue
Upon a field of dreamers view

Replacing yellow daffodil
Once to me had grow at will
Making lilies hide their heads
Now has over grown the beds.

It is my way to say good-bye
Herein the wile of a sigh

Seymour darling heart this is utterly beautiful stunningly well written, you know for certain that etched into my soul are the words Seymour is king of rhyme divine and it’s true you surely are. No one paints word pictures with your consummate skill, nobody does it like you. I love the way you layer the scene, build it into a masterpiece, truly exquisite darling boy, you really do make my day.

You know I’m going to say I love this utterly don’t you? And of course you know I’m smiling brightly with a satisfied Seymour smile

I like the ebb and flow of your thoughts. It comes so naturally to a mind such as yours

Stinkylove..its not a phantom...its Randy trying to sneak out while youre sleeping.
Dearest Sy...So many times your tender rhymes that speak of time's immortality and accepting who and where you are in your life's journey touch me..this one is no exception...and those closing couplets make me want to give you a big hug.
We've had a late spring here...the daffodils are still blooming in all their glory...so are you. How else can you explain all the butterflies swarming around you?

:

(sigh) This is soooooo beautiful with a tinge of sadness in it, sweet friend, saying goodbye is indeed a hard thing to do, but can also be so touching and captivating and to let them know at least someone will always be in the garden of your thoughts is the best you could ever hope for! (big hugggssssss) This is fabulous as always, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

You build me sand castles on the beach
Will you also keep the sea from leech?

As JM said it's only Randy Dragon bemoaning his leach. Thank you for your comment. Sy

Seymour hi there, this is sooooo special, you really are a wonderful writer and this has such a smooth flow and perfect rhyme, you are a divine poet. Excellent writing thank you this is a keeper.

You could walk the beach with me Seymour, leave mum building sandcastles, we’ll collect seashells instead. She won’t mind and I’m much more entertaining there mum snaffled from under your nose and done with style, points to me I think
