Roses of dice tumble down,
white as scripture marks unhoned.
Pane face catches droplet kiss
made of sunning dust-hue glow.

Drooping head, we found sky's stream
a healthy way to give to grief --
for us to trail our fingers through
a stoneless spray of shivering.

I write this poem in the white.
I write this poem to the dirt.
I write this poem, tracing fences,
pointing up to open light.

The sky, she shivers in her way.
Colder ships of gray today.
Tomorrow, maybe, strips of gold.
Today's ribbons: strewn and sold.

This is one of those poems I was meant to read...today.

an ocean of you,
what if I told you,
what if I said
that I love you
do we dare cross
that line between your
heart and mine~

Needless to say, I was a tad depressed this morning. Tho I guess I could be pretentious and say "depressed this mourning." But I won't.

Glad you all enjoyed.

your imagery and symbolism always impress...
as does the cutting edge of abstract and uniqueness that is always found in your poetry. Never cliche...never a worn out phrase, and always written with a subtle undercurrent of an ache that wont be quieted...which I personally am drawn to in poetry. Those last 2 lines are worth their weight in poetic gold.

"The sky, she shivers in her way."

a bit north of you, the clouds tease me, hinting rain....then....making me wait, and hope....I liked this very much
