Muse of the Heart

It passes on augments fantasy
On colored wings of ecstasy
Lacing strips across the sky
Like lattice on an apple pie.

Phantom swirls of colored hue
That raised a curtain to my view
Vista’s to a sight of awe
That opened up a dream to more.

She netted me with honey hair
Tinting gold from everywhere
Moistened lips and fingertips
That candy coated all my wits.

And I was dazed and boldly based
Enfolded in this net of grace.
Captured by a Cheshire goal
That winked inside my open soul.

This muse is one of open heart
To stay with me and never part

Sy,
I would never have guessed you were talking about a muse. But I do believe the muse has guided your hand in this.

In delight of imagery
cast about by 'mused fairy
who plays about the honey jars
netting close a twinkling star
just to see the smile of you
just to bring a grin to two...

Seymour darling boy OH MY This is simply stunning writing, utterly utterly stunning. How beautiful the words in this are, the flow is as smooth as silk, the phrasing perfect, and the timing is absolutely spot on. Without a doubt you are the best at capturing a thought in a net of wonder.

I should have known when the sunlight came stroking my face with it’s golden light that this morning was going to hold a special Seymour treat, and of course it did. You really are a master of rhyme darling boy, and this is exquisite

Do I love this? Yes you know I do

Love and warm stuff

saved you, to savor, as I knew it would be good, and like the last song you hear, that plays in your mind, I wanted the words that linger today to be sweet ones. And indeed, they are. I knew I could count on you.

sigh, sy!

you ARE lucky to have such a wonderful muse! I think mine must have a bit of devil in her!

And, it's a mighty muse you have!
I wish that mine was so dazzling and talented.
(Right now, mine's a little moody )
This is truly exquisite, it ranks as one of your best and of course, it's a keeper~

You should submit this to the main site!

Take care,
Melissa~
